About Haven Pointe Winery…

Located in southeast Douglas County, Haven Pointe Winery reflects the spirit of the Kaw River Valley – rustic, natural, and bold. Our mission is to provide a truly unique visitor experience that brings together great wine, good folks, and hands-on viticultural and enological knowledge.

Haven Pointe Winery produces both red and white French-American hybrid varietal wines. Our estate-grown varietals include Chambourcin and Traminette. We also make fruit wine as well as a variety of meads. Each of our wines features Kansas-grown grapes, fruits and / or honey.

Our winery is located at 961 East 1600 Road (Douglas County Road 1055).  The address number is on the mail box post and you’ll see our vineyard in front.  Our tasting room phone number is (785) 766-9677.

Directions from Johnson County / KC Metro

Take I-435 West to the Lawrence K-10 exit.  Take K-10 west to the Douglas County 1055 / Haskell Avenue / E 1500 Road exit.  Turn left at the stoplight and go south on East 1500 Road for approx. 3.8 miles to the four way stop (Douglas County 458 / East 1500 Road intersection). Turn left and proceed 1 mile to E 1600 Road (4 way stop).  Turn right, proceed .3 miles; we’re on the left hand side of the road.

Directions from Lawrence

Take US 59 south to the Douglas County 458 East / N 1000 Road exit.  Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp and go east 2 miles where you will come to a 4-way stop sign intersection. Proceed straight 1 mile to E 1600 Road (4 way stop).  Turn right, proceed .3 miles; we’re on the left hand side of the road.
